Restaurant website examples: what the good ones get right.
The best restaurant websites are not the prettiest. They are the ones where a hungry visitor finds the menu, the hours and the order button in seconds, on a phone.
1. The menu is readable, not a PDF
A menu as a downloadable PDF is hard to read on a phone and invisible to search engines. Good restaurant sites show the menu as real page content, with prices, sections and dietary notes.
2. Ordering is one tap away
If you offer takeout, the order button should be on the menu page itself — not three clicks away, and not only on a marketplace. Your own ordering page keeps the customer and the order with you.
3. Hours, location and booking are unmissable
Visitors should not have to hunt for when you are open, where you are, or how to book. Those three facts belong on every page, especially the home page.
4. Photos help, but speed matters more
Food photos sell, but a page that takes ten seconds to load loses the sale before the photo appears. Compress images and keep the menu fast.

Casa Fuego is a Mexican restaurant site. It shows a menu with filters, a working cart with live totals, and an order flow with confirmation numbers. Open it on your phone and see how the flow feels.
